Portuguese School for Foreigners
Caravela is a school network specialized in teaching Portuguese to foreigners. So far, it is the only network of such schools in Portugal.
There is a great demand for our courses outside the major centers and we are committed with offering specialized and high quality education in different cities of Portugal.
Portuguese Courses
There are 40-hour courses in a group of 4 to 6 students.
Prices are all-included: teaching materials, exam and certificate.
Extensive Course
Price: 300 euros/student
– 16 classes of 2h30 (15-min break)
– lasts about 2 months
– Monday to Thursday or Tuesdays to Fridays
– 10h00 – 12h30, 14h00 – 16h30 or 18h30 – 21h00
Intensive Course
Price: 300 euros/student
– 10 classes of 4h00 (15-min break)
– lasts 2 weeks
– from Monday to Friday
– 9h30 – 13h30 or 14h00 – 18h00
Online Courses
Online
Price: 285 euros/student
Communication between students and teacher’s is done by video conference and the materials are adapted to the online format.
This course is similar to the Intensive or Extensive course, so you just need to choose the format that suits you best.
b-Learning
Price: 150 euros/student
It is made for about 60 hours of study, covers all the subjects of the courses and many of the classroom tasks. The tasks and explanations are sent to students regularly. Some of these tasks must be sent back to the teacher, who will accompany the whole process and will be available to answer and help.
Here, student can make questions, practice oral expression, interaction and corrects pronunciation. The other components – text comprehension and expression, grammar, listening, and communicative skills – are developed through the course.
- Self-study period: approximately 56 hours
- Lessons with teacher: 4 private lessons of 60 min.
